Blood Bank
- The Dept of Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion is situated on the first floor of the bharati hospital, and has a modern Blood Centre with sophisticated equipments.
- The Dept has been approved by National Medical Council (NMC) for conducting PG course in MD Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion.
- Bharati Hospital Blood Centre is a NABH Accredited, DGCI, FDA Licensed Blood Centre (Blood Bank) .
AIM
- To provide safe blood & blood components to all patients by using modern techniques and state of the art equipment.
- To provide medical education for Undergraduate & Post Graduate students of Bharati Vidhyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Medical College, Pune- 43.
- To train DMLT students, Nursing students etc, of the University.
- To conduct research & publish data in National & International journals.
- To regularly conduct voluntary blood donation camps in and around Pune city.
